The Imperial Army - The Anvil of the Emperor

A fan-made supplement for The Horus Heresy: Age of Darkness, covering the regular Imperial Army (Excertus Imperialis), the professional mortal line regiments that formed the backbone of the Emperor's war machine. It introduces a full faction with its own army list, a Doctrines system for army-wide customisation, and an Orders system of actions and reactions that sets the Imperial Army apart on the battlefield.

• Self-contained. Uses the core Age of Darkness rulebook. Restricted Imperialis Militia units may be unlocked via Doctrine points as described in the list; allied Solar Auxilia and Mechanicum options reference their respective Libers for cost only.
